Car Insurance Dodge (Car Insurance). What sub woofers would go best with a PLANET AUDIO 5000 watt amp? What sub woofers would go best with a PLANET AUDIO 5000 watt amp? --their amps are overrated and don't make their advertised RMS (continuous) wattage --you need to give a model number because they don't make any "5000 watt" amps --your question is too vague (how many speakers and what size) --are you looking for higher quality speakers or cheaper ones like the amp Well if you want to use all that power from that amp then its gonna cost some money to get subs that can handle that much power. Well first of all it would be nice to know how much money you have? Are you wanting 12's or 15's. If you want to go with one sub i would get a 15 inch orion hcca, or a jlw13. I would just get one of them. I am assuming that you have the planet audio PX5000D. And if that is the case then thats its max power, and it wouldnt be wise to run it bridged like that all the time, especially in the summertime, because your amp will overheat. The actual rms of the amp if you have it bridged is 3600 watts so thats what u need to really be concerned with. If you get one of the subs that I mentioned there will not be too many people n your block that will be able to out beat you. Kicker 10C124 Comp 12-Inch Subwoofer 4 DVC (Black) are BY FAR the best sub for the price out there. Some years back, I had two 12" 8-ohm Kicker Comps in a large sealed box (2.0 cu. ft. per subwoofer) powered by a bridged Rockford Fosgate Punch 400s 2-channel amp in a 1996 Olds Cutlass Supreme 2 door. The two subwoofers were wired in parallel (4-ohms) to the amp. Auto parts : Distributor Magnetic Drive Assembly Acura 1995 . Distributor Nut Alfa Romeo 1996 . Distributor O-Ring Audi 1997 . And when I do get it started it has a little trouble driving. I'll put my foot on the gas pedal and give it some gas but it has a hard time picking up and the engine revs up and down. What is wrong? I have a 1999 GMC Yukon 5.7L V8, just recently, after coming to a stop at a red light, I began to accelerate and a sudden loud whine came from the transmission, it still drove and I was able to pull off to the side of the road, but after placing it in park, it kept rolling, so I put the E-brake on so it wouldnt roll any further. After sitting for a min, I put the truck in drive and the loud whine came back, and the speedometer jumped to about 15mph, but the vehicle wasnt rolling, and anytime I shifted through the gears, the loud whine continued. Prior to this, the truck ran smooth, the transmission shifted perfectly, there was no high rpms at all, and there didnt seem to be any signs that either the torque converter or transmission was going bad. It has 198,000 miles on it, and its maintained very well with the engine in great shape. Anyone have any ideas as to what this problem may be? Or should I go ahead and plan on a Torque Converter or a new transmission? car insurance. Auto parts : Distributor Seal Jaguar 1997. Distributor Shim Jeep 1998. Distributor Snap Ring Kia 1999. Better Business Bureau: Check with your local Better Business Bureau to see whether a shop has been the subject of numerous consumer complaints. Referrals: I've always felt that the best way to find a good mechanic is the same way you find a doctor, lawyer, or plumber — through referrals. Ask people who drive the same make vehicle as you do where they go for repairs, and then check out the shops that are the most conveniently located. As a fringe benefit, you'll also know which shops to avoid, because many of the people you ask will have horror stories to tell you, too. Evaluating a Facility Dodge . How do you find out if your licence is legal?
Go to your local Highway Patrol Station. They will tell you everything you need to know * A quick way to do a preliminary check is to call a shop and ask for its basic prices on regular maintenance jobs like tuning the make and model vehicle you drive, flushing the cooling system, and changing the oil and oil filter. You should also ask what the hourly labor rate is and whether the shop uses OEM parts for your particular vehicle. A telephone interview can give you a good idea of whether a shop's prices are competitive and provide you with a feeling for the shop's "vibes." If the people you talk to are surly and uncommunicative over the phone, chances are that you're going to run into trouble if you have to deal with them in an emergency. Before you need service, follow up a positive phone interview with an unannounced visit to check on the following things: e* Is the place clean and well-organized or filthy and cluttered? Appearance is a good indication of general attitude. Auto repair is a trade that calls for patience and precision. If the shop is sloppy and disorganized, the work may be, too. *«* Does the shop have modern electronic diagnostic and testing equipment? These machines save time by pinpointing trouble areas and checking adjustments and tolerances. Saving time means saving money when it comes to paying those labor charges. Of course, this equipment is only as good as the person using it. Ask if shop technicians attend factory schools and seminars run by manufacturers to learn how to use the more sophisticated analyzers and keep up-to-date on new systems. Modern vehicles require sophisticated, specialized, diagnostic computer equipment, sometimes specific to the make and model of vehicle. Find out whether your vehicle is in that category. If it is, you may have to take it to your local dealer for any work involving computer-controlled functions. Part IV: Dealing with On-the-Road Emergencies Does the shop have a good, up-to-date service manual for your vehicle? I usually buy one for my car's year, make, and model and offer to lend it to the mechanic. After all, service facilities can't stock manuals for every vehicle in the world. Before you hand over your manual, scan the section that deals with the system in question. If you know which parts are involved and have at least a general idea of the work required, you'll be able to communicate intelligently with the service writer and have a basis for questioning any parts or labor charges that seem excessive. " Does the shop have the necessary tools to do your job? Ask whether any part of the job will have to be sent out to a specialist. If this is the case, ask whether they will simply pass those charges on to you, or mark them up to compensate themselves for the time and effort of delivering the vehicle to the specialist and picking it up afterward. If the entire job has to be done by an outside specialist, consider taking the vehicle there directly instead of having your shop serve as a middleman. Avoid conflicts with the service facility by saying that you want another estimate. Dodge . Is the alloy fitment on a Vauxhall Corsa C the same as on a Vauxhall Corsa A?
